Data Collection
- 1. We identify the top 20 law firms per city per practice area from Google Maps rankings.
- 2. We collect up to 200 verified Google reviews per firm — full text, ratings, timestamps, and owner responses.
- 3. We scrape Google Business profiles for hours, attributes, categories, and contact information.
- 4. We pull market intelligence: search volume, cost-per-click, competitive density, and search trends.
Analysis
- 1. Review NLP: We scan review text for 50+ keyword patterns across 10 categories (communication, results, professionalism, compassion, etc.).
- 2. Response Analysis: We calculate owner response rates and average response times from timestamps.
- 3. Sentiment Scoring: We measure positive/negative review ratios and compute polarization indexes.
- 4. Market Aggregation: We compute city-level averages, medians, and distributions for all metrics.
Data Freshness
All data is refreshed monthly. Review analysis is based on the most recent 200 reviews per firm. Market data (search volume, CPC) is updated from Google Ads API. Last full refresh: April 2026.
